Do your plans for Spring Semester include leaving Wright State for one of the following reasons?

* Transfer to another college or university
* Withdrawal from Wright State
* Marriage (not an automatic release in The Village)
* Graduation
* Study Abroad

If the answer is “YES”, please complete the form and submit no later than Friday, December 1, 2023. The above reasons are considered to be an automatic release from all campus housing communities* and are subject to verification.

All other reasons must be presented to the Appeals Board** for their decision. Appeals Board paperwork can be submitted online by logging into your housing account. Please keep in mind that participating in the Appeals Board IS NOT A GUARANTEE that you’ll be released from your contract.

*Marriage is not an automatic release for residents living in the Village.

SCHEDULE A CHECK-OUT

Please keep in mind that you will need to be checked out of your room (including keys returned) no later than 24 hours from your last final exam. Failure to do so could result in a core lock change, $150 improper checkout, and/or damage charges.

HAMILTON HALL & FOREST LANE Residents: please return your keys to the Forest Lane Community Center (located next to the water tower) at the package window or in the drop box (at the package window).

WOODS, HONORS, COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY PARK and VILLAGE Residents: please return your keys to the Hub, located at 2000 Zink Road, on campus near the Village Apartments. There is a drop box located to the left of the main entrance.

Spring housing credits to your Bursar account will not be issued until keys have been returned to the appropriate office and reason for leaving has been verified.

This date is when you plan to be completely moved out and return your keys to the housing office.

Breaking your housing contract will result in an hold being placed on your account preventing you from registering for classes within the same academic year. In the event that you ask us to remove the hold and you register, you will be held liable to your housing contract for the remainder of the academic year.
